How to Tell if it’s Intuition or Fear
Not every voice in your head is your intuition. If you’ve ever asked yourself, “Is this my intuition… or just fear?”—you’re not alone. It can be hard to tell the difference when there are so many voices in our heads competing for attention.
Here’s the truth: your intuition won’t make you feel bad.
It won’t guilt you, shame you, spiral you into anxiety, or leave you feeling small. That’s not how your soul talks to you.
Your intuition is like a wise friend. It speaks with clarity, not chaos. With nudges, not noise. Its messages may stretch you, challenge you, even scare you a little—but never in a way that makes you feel heavy, panicked, or off.
That’s the voice of your conditioning.
Your programming.
Your subconscious trying to protect you from something it doesn’t understand.
But your soul? It knows.
And when you hear that voice, you’ll feel it.
It might feel like curiosity.
Like calm.
Like a gentle, electric pull.
Even a quiet “yes” that doesn’t make sense—but somehow feels right.
Your body is a powerful compass. If a thought makes you feel emotionally or physically tense, drained, anxious, or unwell… it’s likely not your intuition. But if it sparks wonder, focus, alertness, or a peaceful sense of direction—it’s probably the whisper of your higher self.
The more we slow down, turn inward, and listen, the clearer the signal becomes. And when we follow those inner prompts, life begins to flow.
You already know the way.
The question is: Will you listen?
Take a moment to pause and reflect...
-
Which inner voice do I tend to listen to more often—the one that uplifts and guides, or the one that criticizes and doubts?
-
When I feel pulled toward something new, what stories immediately pop up in my mind? Whose voice do they sound like?
- Am I making this decision from a place of fear, habit, or trust?
To breaking the mold and rising higher,
Meghan
